Pillar jib crane with girder boom with tie rods and 270° electric rotation

The pillar jib crane with girder boom with tie rods and 270° electric rotation is an excellent solution for handling loads when the thrust forces or the size of the load are too heavy for a crane with manual rotation. This type of crane is designed to overcome obstructions along the floor and ensure safe and efficient handling even in workplaces that are difficult to access.

The boom rotation system is provided by a gear motor coupled directly to the rotation pin and controlled by an inverter. The planetary gear motor is driven by a self-braking electric motor with soft start, which ensures a smooth and controlled movement of the boom. The electrical line supplying the hoist trolley consists of flexible cables suspended on trolleys sliding under the boom, thus ensuring maximum operational safety. The push-button strip, which can be supplied either hanging from the hoist or sliding independently, allows precise and convenient control of lifting and handling operations. To limit the boom tilting range, rotation limit switches can be installed, further increasing the safety of the system. In OMIS jib cranes with electric rotation, the use of tie rods makes this version particularly robust and reliable, ideal for applications with higher capacities and extensions than cantilever girder versions.

Circular-section tubular steel. At one end it has a perforated base plate for anchoring to the base using chemical anchors or anchor rods, and at the other end two plates, a head plate and an intermediate plate, for supporting the boom.
Hoist
Chain electric hoist for lifting the load, with one or two lifting speeds, with manual push or mechanical electric trolley.
Braking device
This consists of a screw-adjustable clutch for the adjustment of the boom rotation effort and for ensuring its positioning stability.

Optional features
