The Composite Roller consists of a glass filled high density polyethylene tube, injection moulded bearing housing, stationary stoneguard and FRAS labyrinth seal.

The Composite Roller offers a distinct mass advantage when compared to equivalent length standard steel and HDPE rollers.

BEARING HOUSING

Injection moulded glass filled polypropylene with anti-static additive.

STONEGUARD

Injection moulded impact modified PA66;
The additional labyrinth offers increased protection for the seal and bearing;
The stoneguard prevents the roller from seizing if a stone or rock gets stuck between the roller face and the roller bracket.

SEALING

The multi-part labyrinth seal is injection moulded with UL94-V0 rated GF PA6;
The seal is available as contactless for low drag application requirements or hermetic seal for dirty and wet applications.

TUBE

The tube material properties and tube wall thickness provide superior load carrying capacity;
The tube offers very high abrasion resistance making the roller ideal for hard rock application;
The machined outer surface offers excellent TIR and low noise emission.
